Thoughts on Catholicism

May 4, 2011

Catholicism is a voluntary organization. I know, I quit it. I defy anyone reading this to make the case that the Catholic Church even remotely resembles anything the likes of which Christ would have sanctioned… or would sanction were he to return. I’ve seen the Vatican. I assure you, it’s not what Jesus had in mind.

Being Catholic is like paying taxes: you’re implicitly giving your consent to evil; the difference is, of course, that the Church doesn’t kill or imprison you if you quit being Catholic (at least not anymore, to the best of my knowledge).
